The first in our series of three-linked London Core Forums in 2023 - Real Estate & ESG - Environmental | Social | Governance, focuses on the ‘E’ in ESG-.
The theme:
Transforming Places
‘Delivering environmentally sustainable & biodiverse Developments’.
In partnership with the Eden Project; the Forum will comprise of a number of powerful sessions; with leaders from across the private and public sectors: presentations, a fireside chat and a panel discussion.
Focused on the ‘Environment’ component of ESG, the urgency of a global Net-Zero achievement, and a Plan to get there! Unravelling the layers – the huge role the built environment plays, the ‘cost’ of reducing the ‘carbon calories’ (and, the ‘cost’ of not), Government and policy, to retrofit or not to retrofit, knowing the credentials of your supply chain, and making the text tangible and relatable to all.
Following the core content, there will be tours (one-hour long) around the Canary Wharf Estate to see how the transformation of its spaces is happening on the ground; the greening of the Estate, and its pivotal focus on: the planet, places and people - across the 97 acre Estate.
At dusk, we will enjoy the award-winning ‘Winter Lights Festival’ (link to view) – with over twenty stunning spectacular installations, from some of the most innovative artists across the globe; culminating in drinks and canapes on Level-39 (with incredible views across London)!
