Movers & Shakers is delighted to be hosting a Core Forum ‘On Location’ on the theme of 'Stadia Led Regeneration’ at CBRE’s central London offices. An important and timely topic for UK Real Estate.

Investment into sports focused developments is increasing both globally and within the UK. And stadia led projects are leading the way, driving significant investment. An asset class with durability and mass appeal; a strategic place anchor that can deliver significant commercial and social value!

This half-day event brings together leaders and key stakeholders (private and public sectors) involved in the investment, planning, and delivery of UK stadia.

We will open with a data led keynote presentation by CBRE, looking at the sports and stadia investment market, from a Global to European and UK perspective. There will be two case studies - in which contributors will share the opportunities, challenges, lessons learned, and more.

Our main panel will discuss the ‘Business Case’ for Stadia led regeneration (ROIs - both the economic and social returns, and the interplay between!), and talk practically about ‘how' we deliver best-in-class stadia centred development, and positively transform places in the process - enabling better homes, mixed use, improved infrastructure / connectivity, and better outcomes for local communities.

The panellists will address how stadia can be integrated into local ecosystems. No longer thought of as a silo; there is a definite shift to focus on the wider ‘place’ element - beyond the physical boundaries - curated placemaking and human centric value drivers.

This is a full morning of conversations and keynotes, designed to inform and engage senior level UK Real Estate professionals, in terms of the opportunities for investment and delivery of stadia focused development.
