Jules Pipe CBE

Jules Pipe works on key priorities for the Mayor, including: implementation of the London Plan, major and community-led regeneration projects across the capital, building a skills system that properly addresses the needs of Londoners and the economy, and ensuring London’s infrastructure supports good growth.
Jules has unrivalled knowledge of London government, becoming the first directly elected mayor of Hackney in 2002 and serving as Chair of London Councils from 2010 until he joined the Mayor’s team in 2016.

Jon Neale is the Head of Research & Insight at Montagu Evans, providing market analysis, social and economic insight and strategic advice to support the full spectrum of the partnership’s clients.
With almost 20 years of experience in real estate research and strategy, Jon applies his skills to a variety of challenges across the full range of real estate sectors and geographies. This ranges from working on questions around specific sites, buildings or portfolios to analysing wider socio-economic trends and their impacts on specific sectors.
He has carried out projects for many key players in the UK industry, including British Land, Brookfield, Hammerson and Lend Lease, and is a regular commentator on real estate issues in the press and at conferences and other events. Jon sits on the firm’s Executive Committee.

Sophie White
Sector Lead (Regeneration)
Aviva Capital Partners

Sophie White is Sector Head for Regeneration at Aviva Capital Partners, where she leads the identification and delivery of capital investment opportunities across real estate and place‑based development. She focuses on partnerships that unlock long‑term, sustainable regeneration and drive economic and social value.
Prior to joining Aviva, Sophie spent nine years at Homes England as Director of Infrastructure Funding, overseeing the agency’s major grant and debt programmes that enable infrastructure delivery alongside new developments. Her earlier career spans fourteen years in consultancy with Savills, Drivers Jonas, and Deloitte Real Estate.
Sophie has extensive experience in the viability and funding of mixed‑use regeneration schemes and has a particular interest in the growth and impact of the Build to Rent sector.
Alongside her executive role, Sophie serves on the boards of the London Bioscience Innovation Centre and the Royal Veterinary College.
